College

Well yesterday I finally got my daughter to sit long enough for us to complete admissions applications and scholarship applications.  I thought I would dread her going to college but I am actually excited for her.  She is about to embark on a grand adventure and I hope she includes me along the way.  I pray for me to let her grow into an adult and her to grow into an adult.  I can't wait to see our relationship change from the parental mode to the Mother-Daughter Grown Up mode.  I also pray for her brothers that they will cope well with her being in college.

The First Blog

So I did it....I set up my first blog site.  I struggled with the name and availability was also a factor.  Accountability was my first choice because I want to make changes in my life and wanted to use this blog to hold myself accountable plus I am a certified public accountant so the pun on words seemed appropriate.  Due to availability I had to go with Perspective which works too as I need to keep everything in perspective.  So what do I envision I will blog about:

• Decorating
• Thoughts and Reflections
• Dreams and Goals
• Kids
• Balancing work and family
• Enjoying life

As of right now I don't even intend to think about this being a public blog.  I am just using it for my own purposes and if people stumble upon my journey I hope they enjoy the ride.
